Pimpinela Brothers Share Funny Hotel Mix-Up Story

Pimpinela Brothers Share Funny Hotel Mix-Up Story

Buenos Aires, January 10 (NA) – The members of Pimpinela, Lucía and Joaquín Galán, were present at the first broadcast of 'La noche de Mirtha' from Mar del Plata and shared a funny anecdote that happened to them in hotels at the beginning of their careers. According to the Argentine News Agency, the brothers stated that during their travels through Latin America, hotels often confused them with a married couple and gave them suites instead of separate rooms. “We always remember when we arrived at a hotel and they confused us with a married couple,” the duo recounted with laughter. Even though their manager clarified that they were brothers and would sleep in separate rooms, the hotel staff couldn't understand it. “They would tell us: ‘It doesn't matter, the suite is on the house’. Additionally, they remembered that when a bellhop was taking them to their rooms, they overheard him say: ‘What a miserable marriage this one is,’ they assured. Tired of the situation, Lucía and Joaquín found a way to clear it up once and for all, tired of it always being the same, and decided to release an album titled, Brothers. 'On our third album we put the name Brothers and composed a song with the same title, as a way to clarify the situation, but also to play with the confusion,' Joaquín recounted.
